Our drop-in classes are taught by qualified Buddhist teachers, are easy to understand and apply to our daily lives. The classes offer scientific methods for improving our human nature and qualities through developing the capacity of our mind with emphasize on how to use meditation and subsequent practices in the midst of the busyness of modern life.

Practicing both on and off the cushion, we learn how to overcome irritation and anger, reduce stress, become more mindful and improve concentration.

Classes are suitable for both beginners and more advanced practitioners and consist of 2 guided meditations, a short teaching and discussion. No need to bring anything or wear special clothes – just something comfortable to sit on the floor or on a chair. Feel free to drop in any or every week. Everyone welcome!

●Inner Detox: Let Go and Refresh(May 10, 24, 31)

In this class we will practice guided meditations which function to

3) soothe and calm the mind when we feel angry or irritated

・May 24:
In this class we will practice guided meditations which function to
1) still and centre the mind
2) let go of physical tension
3) release the mind from over-thinking and dwelling on problems

・May 31:
In this class we will practice guided meditations which function to
1) still and centre the mind
2) let go of physical tension
3) rediscover an experience of our root mind as pure and clear

●Inner Balance(June 7, 21, 28)

・June 7:
In this class we will practice guided meditations which function to
1) still and centre the mind
2) let go of physical tension
3) release the mind from negative self-image and guilt so as to enjoy a lighter, more productive state of mind

・June 21:
In this class we will practice guided meditations which function to
1) still and centre the mind
2) let go of physical tension
3) restore calm and space in the mind by sharpening our mindfulness

・June 28:
In this class we will practice guided meditations which function to
1) still and centre the mind
2) let go of physical tension
3) alleviate unpleasant feelings when others don’t repay our kindness

●Radiating Happiness(July 12, Aug 9, 23)

・Jul 12:
In this class we will practice guided meditations which function to

3) cultivate an accepting and creative attitude towards a challenging situation

・Aug 9:
In this class we will practice guided meditations which function to

3) reduce feelings such as frustration when our nearest and dearest behave differently from how we would wish

・Aug 23:
In this class we will practice guided meditations which function to

2) let go of physical tension
3) release the mind from jealousy or envy towards those who possess circumstances or qualities we wish for
