Our drop-in classes are taught by qualified Buddhist teachers, are easy to understand and apply to our daily lives. The classes offer scientific methods for improving our human nature and qualities through developing the capacity of our mind with emphasize on how to use meditation and subsequent practices in the midst of the busyness of modern life.

Practicing both on and off the cushion, we learn how to overcome irritation and anger, reduce stress, become more mindful and improve concentration.

Classes are suitable for both beginners and more advanced practitioners and consist of 2 guided meditations, a short teaching and discussion. No need to bring anything or wear special clothes – just something comfortable to sit on the floor or on a chair. Feel free to drop in any or every week. Everyone welcome!

Each class is self-contained. You are welcome to join any week.

In each of these 5 classes we will cover meditation techniques from the book ‘How to Solve Our Human Problems’ by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, contemporary Buddhist meditation master and author of 23 highly-acclaimed books.

We will practice guided meditations which function to

– improve our ability to relax more deeply and quickly
– improve our concentration and our ability to watch our thoughts peacefully and without judgement, transforming any negative thought patterns into constructive, positive thought patterns that lead to deep-seated happiness
– enable us to turn daily challenges at work and at home into opportunities for personal evolution, so we can experience a peaceful, relaxed confidence that is less vulnerable to changing circumstances and others’ perceptions of ourself
