Let go of stress

In a big city like Tokyo everyone experiences stress from time to time. We feel pressure from our jobs, our school studies, our financial situation; even those things that should bring us happiness, such as our families or our holidays, can be the source of stress.

If we understand what stress is and where it comes from we can start to control it. Stress is a state of mind, a feeling that originates within our own mind. Realising this is the key to overcoming stress, because we can control our mind; we can make a decision to think differently and thus our stress dissolves.

Thinking differently is a key aspect of the meditation techniques that we teach at Kadampa Meditation Centre Tokyo. Everyone is welcome to come and try these techniques and experience their beneficial effects in our lives.
